February has been slightly warmer than average across Switzerland, continuing the trend seen throughout winter 2025/26. Precipitation totals are near normal for most regions, though the southern Alps have seen above-average snowfall.
The extended outlook for March suggests a gradual warming trend with temperatures 1-2°C above the long-term average.
